Fifth Grade Class using online databases!

Mrs. Plourde's 5th grade class came to the library for a lesson on historical fiction. They saw a video from the author Avi. He explained how he researches before he writes a book that is set in the past. Each one of the students chose a historical fiction book. They spent time accessing one of our online databases, Techingbooks.net. The students were able to listen to interviews with each author and find out what inspired them to write their book.
